Rules
The party will divide in teams of 2 battling against each other. Each player will play their own ball and record their score at the end of the hole. For each team, the Vegas score is computed by taking the best score on the hole and multiplying it by 10 and adding it to the worst score. Once both team scores have been computed, the lower team score will win however many points they beat the other team by.
The beauty of the Vegas score is that having one good first score per hole is paramount since it will count a magnitude more than the second score.
NOTE - The Hackers Golf app computes scores on a net basis, so birdies and eagles will go negative.

Add-ons
Once you get the hang of Vegas, try out these extended rules commonly used:
Birdies - if any team scores a birdie, the other team's Vegas score is computed using the worst score as the multiple of 10.
Eagle - same applies as birdie, but the difference in points is then doubled.
Pressing - if there's a large disparity in points throughout the round, the losing team can press the hole to double the points. Must be called accepted by the winning team before leaving the tee box.

Example
Bob and Banks team up against Kevin and Kyle.
Hole 1
Bob/Banks shoot bogey/triple for a Vegas score of 13 (10 + 3) whereas Kevin/Kyle shoot par/quad for a Vegas score of 4 (0 + 4). Therefore, Kevin/Kyle win by 9 and gain 9 points.
Hole 2
Bob/Banks shoot birdie/bogey for -9 (-10 + 1). Kevin/Kyle shoot eagle/par for -20 (-20 + 0). Kevin/Kyle win again by 11 points so their score now is 20-0.
Hole 3
Bob/Banks shoot birdie/birdie for -11 (-10 + -1). Kevin/Kyle don't do as well and go double/triple for 23 (20 + 3). This differential is 34 points, so Bob/Banks quickly take the lead 34-20.
…
This format will continue for as many holes as you wish until one team emerges victorious.
