Rules
Based on the concept known as Flags, this game is all about seeing which player or team can get the furthest given a finite number of lives. Each stroke taken will deduct one life from the player or team, but certain scoring events or outcomes can earn lives back:
+1 life for fairway in regulation
+1 life for green in regulation
+1 life for one-putt
The party is encouraged to pick number of lives for each player based on their handicap, as well as how often you'd like the game to end. If you want the game to only last 3-4 holes, then sum of the par of those holes and apply HCP adjustments.
It's likely that the players will run out of lives mid-hole, in which case whoever has the furthest distance will win.
