The only thing better than winning once is… winning twice. And the only thing better than winning twice is.. winning three times. See where we're going here?

In this game, players or teams battle either with stroke or match play of their choosing. The pot starts at 3 points (or 2 for threesomes). Whoever wins the first hole gets the hot hand and can either:

  1. Cash out the winnings of the pot, or

  2. Double the pot onto the next hole.

If they decide to cash out, the hot hand cools off and players battle to win the next hole to restart the streak. However, if the hot hand decides to double, two outcomes are possible on the next hole:

  1. The hot hand wins, and they either cash out or continue doubling, or

  2. The hot hand loses and the pot is split evenly between the rest of the players.

  3. If the hot hand ties, it's a wash and replay on the next hole.

There's an element of strategy with how far you'll risk keeping your streak alive before you cash out or lose it to your opponents.
