Rules

In an ode to the classic basketball game, players (or teams) will battle to be the first to reach 21 or more points. Points can be gained such as:

  • 11 points - birdie or better

  • 7 points - par

  • 3 points - bogey

  • 1 point - double

However, no points are safe. Players can tip other players, which knocks them down to a lower tier of points. This is done by outputting them. Once all players are on the green, putts will be taken following golf etiquette from longest to shortest. If a player one-putts, they tip all players who putted before them and missed.

Players can only get tipped once per hole, and scoring for the hole is applied post-tip. If a player has 14 or more points and gets tipped, they then drop down to 13. Otherwise, they fall back to 0. The possibility exists where a player can be at 20 points on a hole, get tipped down to 13, and then get tipped again on the next hole and be at 0.
